Kim Zweygardt won the pen! Congratulations, Kim! Thanx for helping launch R U Bullied. Kim is working hard on her presentations for Conference, and we will not disturb her. After conference, we'll ask for an interview.

DO YOU KNOW THE TWO BIBLE VERSES THAT WILL FREE A BULLY VICTIM FOREVER? Look for the verses highlighted in hot pink.

STICKS AND STONES WILL BREAK YOUR BONES, BUT WORDS WILL NEVER HURT YOU! Do you agree with this ancient ditty? I don't! Words can hurt and destroy.

Erika and Billy are soooooo happy. They sing, they dance, they laugh.**Read more on this subject in R U Bullied?, Chapter 12, #6, 9 and 10.

The twins weren't always happy. They were bullied. Often. And it hurt.

They found a great makeup to cover the bruises on their bodies.
But how does one cover a smashed heart?

"You're always...." Mom's favorite sentence starter.
On Monday Mom said Erika ate all the cookies. "But I ate just one," E wailed.
On Tuesday Mom said, "Billy, you're always lazy."
On Wednesday Mom just glared. She didn't say a word all day. "How are we supposed to know how to change if you don't tell us what's wrong?" E and B waited for her to answer. She didn't reply.

Bullies love lies and shunning.

"Could we be living in a double world?" the twins asked.
1)"Mom tells us how worthless we are.
2) Pastor Tim talks about our great value to God."

In August, P Tim talked about victory.
The first Sunday he said, "God loves you so much He gets off his throne and dances." (Zephaniah 3:17) E and B and their friends danced and praised God because he loves all teens.

Second Sunday, P Tim said, "Jesus loved you so much he left his luxury lifestyle in Heaven. He spent 33 years preparing to die for you. Then he died for you. After that he rose from death and went back to Heaven. "I'll come back for you," he promised. "I'll pray for you while I'm in Heaven." Many times Jesus said, "I love you." (John 3:16)

"Thank you Jesus! Thank you Jesus! You  paid a horrible price for our freedom. How can we thank you enough?"

Third Sunday, P Tim preached on Romans 8:1*. He said,
1) "The Holy Spirit took the entire eighth chapter in Romans to explain the first verse."
2) "If you have made Jesus Lord of your life, nobody can accuse you of anything.*"
3) "All you have to do is agree with God (confess your sins)."  I  John 1:9
4) "Why? Because Jesus paid the penalty for anything  his children have done/will do."

"What? No blame, no guilt? Ever?" E and B couldn't believe their ears.

"Jesus sees you as white as snow." P Tim danced across the platform. "Come on, let's celebrate!"

E and B and their friends have celebrated ever since.

When a bully accuses you, do you have to believe his/her words? No. The almighty, huge, victorious, loving God of the Universe has said it—"My children are free from condemnation." You are not guilty! Straighten your back! Walk like the winner you are!

notguiltynotguiltynotguiltynotguiltynotguilty

Will's son Paul loves to remind his dad of the bad things he did when Paul was young. Will asked Paul how he would explain to Jesus that he still held grudges against his dad when Jesus saw him as white as snow. Paul simply repeated his accusations. He could not forgive! Will prays for Paul that he can forgive, because we all know what happens when we hold grudges. Matthew 6:15

When someone accuses you of sins God has already forgiven, ask Will's question.

E and B and Will can relax, regardless of what their accusers say. Jesus said it himself—"Be happy. I paid for your sins." Christians are the most blessed people on the planet!

How you are bullied? Please answer in the comments. Almost everyone is bullied, one way or another.

QUESTION: I need to ask a question: Have you heard of someone who took on a Moses glow (Exodus 34:29-35) after they wrote/published a book? After  R U Bullied? pubbed I suddenly realized my face was glowing!
Is there a better name for this phenomenon than the Moses glow?
At first I didn't realize what was going on, but now I sometimes get into interesting conversations. Any time I go shopping, men, women, boys and girls stare, and some move to within six inches of my face, staring! Friday I had to sign some papers at an office, and everyone in the place stared big time. Of course I glow in church! Anybody else had this experience? Do ya think God is blessing R U Bullied?  I will post a photo if possible.

CONTEST DETAILS ON AUGUST 25TH POST.
I need your comments.

I LOVE ACFW, FCW BONNIE CALHOUN (The answer girl--what would we do without her), AND ALL THE YOUNG ADULTS ON THE PLANET!  This blog's for you, you know. I've been so busy producing RUB? I didn't check the stats. Wow! You visited a lot! I appreciate your interest. But not a single person has commented. Come on, I know you're busy getting ready for conference, or going to school, or working, but PLEESE!

Who's going to win those cool pens? (I have to choose prizes for males, too, and it's HARD. Help me out here.

I responded to K's e-note this morning, and our Lord prompted me to post it here. This is for all of you who are in school, sleeping in, working a job, or going to the ACFW conference.

K, thanx for asking all of us to pray. Our Lord tells us to pray for one another. I will lift up your name at 4:00, central time.

As I set up to reply to you this morning, our Lord reminded me He knew what was going to happen this day, for all of us, before He created the Universe! Eph. 1:4
Isn't that amazing? I quote Proverbs 16:2 many times a day--"The curse undeserved shall not alight." We're so covered by the Godly armour and Jesus' blood, there is no way harm can befall us. Unless we give in to fear and forget what we already know! Eph 6:10-18.Take time to praise and celebrate today with your staff, K! 2 Chronicles 20

These scripture references came from R U Bullied? Esp. 2 Chronicles 20 will be a great encouragement today.

God bless you this day! Audrey Hebbert

R U BULLIED? IS ALMOST A REALITY!

The Published Cover

Who knew  I'd need three months to write a 17-page ebook? There's an excuse--This is my first. The next one will be up and running sooner--I think.

It's CHEAP! $3.99. Pass the word--R U Bullied? is ON SALE! The rest of the planet decided to publish the same day my book was scheduled to debut, and the pub date was pushed back. RUB? is not in the online catalogs yet! It officially pubbed August 10, 2011, but it takes time to have it appear on online lists. THE INTRODUCTORY PRICE--$3.99--IS EFFECTIVE UNTIL AUGUST 31, 2011, maybe longer.  Check back.

Here's the new cover, waiting for you to finish it. Everybody has their own idea of what Jesus looks like. You do too! Think about it. Do you "see" Him in your mind? Interpret your ideas with art materials,  and add your artwork right there in the center of the cover. Check out places inside the book for your interpretations of P Tim and Josh.

Print all 17 pages and write, doodle, draw pictures. It's yours--did I say it's ON SALE?

I'd like to see your drawing of Jesus. Just keep it respectful. Wouldn't you like to see another kid's drawing?  FROM AROUND THE WORLD?

The publisher (Smashwords), posts books on lists and in catalogs that people read all over the world!  WE'LL HAVE A CONTEST! Where shall I buy the winners'  gift cards?

IT'S FRIDAY, AND MONDAY'S COMING!!

Honor someone who is serving our country Monday. They deserve it.

Check out the bracelet I made for my great-grandchild's mommy. "He"  is due in February, and we're excited! I'm thinking of ebooks to write for him already. We need to learn how to communicate because he lives in California and I'm in Nebraska.   I need to read to him so that he will recognize my voice. My daughter and I hope to visit there in March 2012.

...Now, where did that picture go?

I'll be starting a giveaway on Monday. For the boys, a brown shell bracelet. For girls, a blue bracelet similar to the the one shown above. All silver is sterling silver. Quality beads. Sized to fit the winner. Send me your email addy in the comments section until Friday, June 10th.

If you're ages 13-19 (a teen), sign up for the drawing, as many times as you can.

Today I was listening to my IPod, in Genesis. I'd been explaining our family generations to my grandson Josh (Yes, that's my grandson's photo above. He's the new daddy), and the people in Genesis reminded me of how we influence our future generations. Joseph's brothers super-bullied him, and he had to forgive a lot of other  people. What would have happened if he had refused to forgive his brothers and the others who made so much trouble for him? We never know how our good behavior will influence our families, or our bad behavior.

THINK ABOUT IT-- WHICH ONE OF YOUR ANCESTORS INFLUENCED YOU THE MOST? Comment, comment, comment.

PAGE ONE IN R U BULLIED? EBOOK. COMMENTS WELCOME

IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT
Isaiah 40:13, 14

Why are you bullied? I'm tellin' ya, it's not your fault. It's not about you. There's nothing wrong with you.

There's a reason. Anger, hurt, insecurity, rejection, embarrassment, feeling singled out, and fear grow in a kid's brain when he's bullied. He finds a victim (you) he can hurt, and make you suffer too.

If the bully settles his anger issues, he will feel better. He may not want to hurt you any more. That's why I said, "Bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you."Luke 6:28.

Regardless, find someone safe and tell them what is happening. Don't be like Amy, who wouldn't tell anyone about repeated rapes. Why? She didn't want to get the dude in trouble! Get real, Amy! You are not responsible for anyone's behavior but your own, so report bullying or any other offense that makes you feel worthless.

    Get help. Now.

THINK ABOUT IT – If you allow bullying now, you could develop a lifetime habit. You'll need courage to face your trouble now, but you'll save trouble later. JUST DO IT. I never want you to be bullied.
DECREES
++Jesus sees all those laughing at me and He helps me, IJN.(In Jesus' Name).
++My sadness shall be turned into joy and happiness, IJN.

Pray for your pastor today. Ask God to keep him safe from gossip and the lies people tell.

THIS BOOK IS FOR YOU TOO.

Audrey Hebbert, Author
Hi, I'm praying for you! Several times a day. I saw what you're enduring when I was a teacher. I really care! Jesus cares! What do you need prayer for? What is your opinion? What would you like to discuss? Bring it on! We're here for you. You'll meet other people from my Motocross Mania manuscript as they write on subjects of their choice for bullied kids.

A Kind Word May Keep Someone Warm for Years.

Bullied people have a problem: They focus on themselves.
When I ask, "How are you?" some people A) stay quiet, no matter what. Maybe you should pry their mouths open? Or B) they hurl every detail of their lives. Messy. You can wave and walk off, or smile and pretemd to listen.

Why does the entire world seem to answer A or B for "that" question? They focus on themselves
Really care about people.
Jim Rubart is a successful businessman. He's an author, musician, golfer. He writes a column in Christian Fiction Online Magazine.* He says you CAN break out of bully prison. How? Build relationships with people.

"Listen. Really listen."
Jim says, if people like you, they'll stand up for you against your enemies. They'll invite you to their parties….

You need to sell yourself.
Your enemies pick on you because they think you're weak and scared. You can change their minds.

Last week I really listened to people. I practiced my smile and friendly things to say. Thursday I went to Walmart for a printer cartridge. I had about one minute to silently pray for the 20-something checker and show her some respect. "What should I say? … Help me God! … Got it."

"I hope you get off work soon," I said.

Her eyes told me she felt tired and discouraged. I guessed she had been raped at least once, and she and her family and friends had little money. Was she supporting a baby on Walmart wages? Did her boyfriend bully her? She smiled and her shoulders relaxed after my comment.

Jim Rubart has a list of six suggestions:
"1) Ask the person a question.
2) Really listen.
3) Ask him or her another question.
4) Really listen
5) Ask another question.
6) Really listen.
7) Repeat steps 1—6."

Try asking three non-personal questions about the person's life before you say anything about yourself. Trust me, they won’t be offended. They'll love you for making them feel valuable.

Start loving your family and friends by listening and they will begin liking and respecting you. It will take a while for them to realize you sincerely care. (It could be dangerous to include your bully group.)Ask P Tim or a friend to help. Ask Jesus to help you, and He will.

Question: What do you need to hear most today? Answer in the comments. Thanx for helping make this blog a success. We need you. Use texting here if you like until we get the phone# up and running.

THOUGHT FOR A DAY OR TWO

Apologies here. I intended to start posting every Wednesday and Saturday again, but the password wouldn't work. Practiced my patience, I'll tell ya! I prayed and kept punching it in, and voila! It works now.

I was wasting time this morning, thinking about something somebody gossiped about me, that happened 32 years ago. Good grief! Can't people ever forget? And forgive? Especially when Jesus sees me as white as snow, and He rejoices every time my name is mentioned around the Throne?

Then it hit me. Almost knocked me off my chair. Who do ya think pasted this thought on the wall of my heart?

"Am I going to let the enemy tell me who I am?"

Then I remembered a statement from my past--

"Your brother is not the enemy. The enemy is the enemy."

Put on your dancing shoes! Kick up the praise music!

Jesus is excited about us!

He died for us, didn't He? He handed us everything we will ever need to please Him by dying on the cross and rising from the dead.

Put that miserable little loser enemy where he belongs--Out the door! As far away as possible!

QUESTION AND COMMENT

What is an RFID Symbol/tag? Do you have one? Where do you keep it? email me at Audrey4j@yahoo.com if you have one. I'll send you a prize!

Saturday Josh (I'm talking about my grandson, not the main character in Motocross Mania.) finally forced me onto Facebook. You wouldn't do that to your grandmother, I know! He wanted me to watch the cool video of him snowboarding, and all the nifty** things he does. So I'm on Facebook! Check
IT OUT! Go easy on me--I'm new to this.

**I love nifty! Don't you? Josh hates hates hates it--He hates it. Let's start a new word from the 50s. Start using nifty and get everybody using it. Influence your friends for good! ☺☺☺

FOIL THE CRIMINALS!

Josh wrote the last two posts, but there's one problem--Josh is a fictional character! Go figure. So who's writing these posts?  You guessed--I'm writing them!!! Once I became a fiction writer, I found I was capable of fictionalizing anything!

Anyone can use the idea God dropped into my brain to advertise my books, and keep my credit card safe too. Go ahead and use my stuff--I'm giving it to you, no strings.

Safe, Easy, Cheap advertising
Fits In Your Wallet

You've probably heard that criminals scan our credit cards and passports in our wallets.  Unless we've shielded the card's magnetic strip with TINFOIL. Or spent a fortune on one of those HEAVY dudes for sale on the Internet or at WalMart. Mine sell for only 75 cents, and materials cost about 10 cents. Prices will increase if I go to commercial laminating. Time needed--3 minutes!

You know how it works--Thugs use the same scanner you swipe your card on in the store. They can lift your numbers from a distance of two or three feet, and you'll never find out who stole your identity.

Here's just one link on how scammers scan. I  surfed the Net and found several websites and lots of information. This link mentions tinfoil as a good block to RFID scanners.

FOIL THE CRIMINALS!
These little gems help spread the word to your friends, your parents, teachers, anyone you want to impress with your extreme maturity and ability to spot/solve a problem a mile away. I plan to use them as gifts at book signings, tucked into a bill I'm paying, wherever. I gave one to my doctor yesterday!

TAKE THREE EASY STEPS TO SAFETY!
STEP ONE--COVER. Lay two business cards face up, about 1/8-inch apart. Laminate with clear packing tape, allowing a small margin to fold over the outside edges. Press the little margin in place.

STEP TWO--FOIL LINING. Place a double thickness of heavy duty tinfoil on the back side. Grab scissors and trim to fit. Use more packing tape (or duct tape) to laminate foil in place. Allow another small margin to fold over the outside edges if you're using packing tape. Otherwise, cut duct tape to the same size as the card. Make sure all tape is sealed.

STEP THREE--FOLD CARDS together to make a pouch. Tape the ends if desired. (I left mine open.) Insert into a slot of your wallet. The user will think of you every time s/he uses the SAFE credit card.

EMAIL ME AT audrey4j@yahoo.com AND I'LL SEND YOU ONE. OR EMAIL ME WITH YOUR HOME ADDRESS. I'LL SEND AS MANY AS YOU NEED, UP TO 10, IN EXCHANGE FOR A DONATION. (Mailings to U.S. only.)

It would take just a minute to place a comment here. And you'd help me a lot--you know how that works.

JOSH'S THOUGHTS ABOUT BEING AFRAID

I haven't posted for a while, but I'm back now, ready to talk more often. I crave your comments--Talking to myself is boring!

Grandma told me about a high school shooting last week in her town, Omaha, Nebraska. A popular principal and assistant principal were shot, and the assist died. The principal's pastor sent a message to the newspaper, with words about fear. Read some of his thoughts below.

"In the wake of such a tragedy, we are left with significant questions about spiritual matters.... Many students will go back to school and ask, "Am I safe? Should I be afraid?" ... One evil act can demonstrate just how fragile life is....

"3,000 years ago, King David was on the run from evil men and asked some similar questions. Here was what he wrote to God in Psalm 17:1-3.
'The LORD is my light and my salvation.Whom shall I fear?
The LORD is the stronghold of my life: of whom shall I be afraid?
When evildoers assail me to threaten my body,
It will be my enemies and foes who stumble and fall.
Though an army encamp against me, my heart will not be afraid.
Though war rise against me, I will still be confident.'

'David's... confidence was only  in God...nowhere else. And this just makes sense. God is the only unchanging thing in this world. God is the only thing that transcends life and death. There is nowhere else to find hope and stability....
' The truth is that there are no assurances that we are safe from gunmen today. We are not safe from invading armies, terrorists, or disease. Any of them might strike at any minute. Our confidence, hope, and assurance is only in the heart of a God who is unchanging, sovereign and good.... Knowing the source of comfort makes you a great comforter....
'So approach this day with confidence because of the security we have in God....'"
Excerpts of a letter to the Omaha World Herald, Omaha, Nebraska by Pastor Mark Ashton, Christ Community Church. Email me at audrey4j@YAHOO.COM for a copy of his complete message.

Josh Signing In Again

Grandma bribed me with my fav pumpkin pie, fresh baked, warm, with real whipped cream. mmmmm!

Picture yourself in Mr. Crabbyface's class, wishing you were at the motocross track. His Crabbyface Doozy test smirks at you, and you're stuck on question #2. Don't you wish there was a button you could punch to find the answer? You studied, but who knew he'd pull out this puny little detail?

I'm tellin' ya, there is a button. Blake uses it in Motocross Mania. We call him "preacher" because he knows a lot about God. One day he told me, "I've been asking God to teach me His ways since I was in that accident." The wreck took place when his dad rolled their pickup going 70 mph west on I-80. Blake was 13. Of course I was 13 too, but we didn't know each other then. Blake had a head injury and ended up in a Denver hospital, where I was with my crushed leg and broken ribs that almost punctured my heart, that took a year to heal. We've been best friends since then, until Sandy... I'd better not talk about her yet. Later.

I heard him say, "Teach me" a million times that summer in the hospital. I had to ask who he was talking to.

"Psalm 25:4." He said it like anyone should know what he meant. I gave him the zombie stare and he grinned. "They're my code words to God. Short for 'Teach me your ways, O God.' " I still stared until he explained. "That closed head injury set me back five years. The doctors said I would always operate at the third grade level. 'No way,' I said. I prayed that prayer 24/7. God heard, and now I'm normal."

Of course I said, "Reeeeeeally?" and laughed.

"Okay," I said, "how does the latest space ship work?" I knew he'd say I had to ask reasonable questions. But you get the idea. He asks God for the answer when it's reasonable, or he asks where he can find the answer, like on the Net.

Ya know, he's almost too smart and I hafta cut him off sometimes.

So I started praying that prayer. Yah! What can I lose? You wanna try it?

GOALS?

My grandma is writing Motocross Mania, and she asked me to post here today. I said I couldn't because I'm a fictional character, but she said I'm already writing Foolspeak and Motocross Mania blogs in the book.

I'm sorta like Grandma's real-life grandson Josh. He raced dirt bikes til he was 16, but he's lost interest. I'm 18, but real-life Josh is 22. We look alike, but our goals are different. I want--
Fame and fortune in Motocross
Fame and income as a blogger
Healing from childhood abuse by stepdad George
Marry Sandy when I'm 20 or 21, and we'd have the faith Pastor Tim talks about. I knew God when I was little, but right now I feel far away from Him.

What are your goals? I'll reply to all comments. Grandma will say, "I knew you'd rock!"
